About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #152695), serving the Tri-Valley and surrounding areas.
It is my pleasure and honor to serve you as a psychotherapist. My specialities and special interests include working with trauma, identity, parenting, and relational challenges. Other issues and disorders I have experience working with include depression, anxiety, sexual disorders, substance use, crisis and crisis management, bipolar disorder, infidelity, social anxiety, grief and loss, immigration trauma, and personality disorders.
I hold an integrative approach, meaning that I draw from a variety of theories and use them to inform my practice. With this, I tailor my approach to each client's needs so that they may receive the best possible care. Overall, though, my approach derives heavily from gestalt therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness, somatic psychology, emotion-focused therapy, attachment, and client-centered therapy.
I received my B.A. (with distinction) in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and later my M.A. in Counseling Psychology, LGBTQ+ Counseling emphasis, from Santa Clara University.
